หน่วยระบบโรคทางเดินอาหารและตับ

งานการเรียนการสอน (Teaching) 

1. นักศึกษาแพทย์ชั้น preclinic และ clinic ได้แก่การสอนบรรยาย การสอน beside teaching การสอน case discussion  (Preclinic and Clinical medication students: Lecture, bedside teaching, case discussion in Gastroenterology and Hepatology)
2. แพทย์ประจำบ้านอายุรกรรม (Medical resident)
3. แพทย์ประจำบ้านต่อยอดและแพทย์ประจำบ้านต่อยอด advanced endoscopic ( GI fellow and advanced endoscopic fellow)
4. นักศึกษาแพทย์และแพทย์ elective (Elective grogram for medical student and medical residents) 

งานวิจัยที่ให้ความสนใจของหน่วยวิชา (field of interested study)

1. Hepatitis เช่น viral hepatitis 
2. Cirrhosis
3. Hepatocellular carcinoma
4. Endoscopy and EUS/ERCP
5. Gastrointestinal Motility disorder
6. Diseases of intestine

งานบริการทางการแพทย์ (Medical service)

1. Clinic เฉพาะทางโรคระบบทางเดินอาหารวันพุธ 13.00 – 16.30 น  (Special clinic for GI diseases)
2. การส่องกล้องทางเดินอาหารได้แก่ upper and lower GI endoscopy, EUS, ERCP, GI motility testing, Liver stiffness measurement, Liver biopsy  ( procedure e.g. upper and lower GI endoscopy, EUS, ERCP, GI motility testing, Liver stiffness measurement, Liver biopsy)
3. รับปรึกษาปัญหาผู้ป่วยโรคระบบทางเดินอาหารจากในแผนกและต่างแผนก รวมถึงเป็นศูนย์ refer ผู้ป่วยจากรพ.ในภาคใต้ (Consulataion for GI problem in Songanarind Hospital and referal center for patients with complicated GI problem)

งานบริการวิชาการ

1. การประชุมวิชาการโรคทางเดินอาหารและตับระดับประเทศ ( NKC Gastroenteroloy and Hepatology annual meeting)
2. การจัดประชุม Live demonstration ทาง advanced endoscopy : EUS and ERCP (Liver demonstration work up for advanced endoscopy)
3. เป็นวิทยากรในสมาคมวิชาชีพ ได้แก้ ราชวิทยาลัยอายุรแพทย์แห่งประเทศไทย สมาคมระบบทางเดินอาหาร สมาคมโรคตับ  และระดับนานาชาติ (Speaker in Gastroenterology and Hepatology of)
4. ให้ความรู้แก่ประชาชนผ่านทางสื่อสิ่งพิมพ์ วิทยุ และการสัมภาษณ์สด
